Editing
I have worked as a professional editor for more than thirty years. My clients are from industry and education as well as private enterprise. I work to a high degree of accuracy and my rates are competitive, based on the level of editing required. For example, my rate for proofreading a document is lower than that for substantive/structural editing, stylistic editing, or copy editing. For complex projects, all of the above levels of editing may be required. I also have experience editing novels and life writing narratives. Click here for a complete description of the different categories for editing, available at the Editors' Association of Canada website.
For a free estimate on editing a work in progress or a finished manuscript, please email me at moley500@gmail.com.
Three novels I recently edited -- Return of the Jaguar by Norm Cuddy, and Mariposa Intersections and Folly Bistro by Bruno Huber -- are now available for purchase at Granville Island Publishing. Return of the Jaguar is also available for purchase through the website returnofthejaguar.com or at Amazon.ca. Also, and now available on Amazon too, is Doug McLeod's collection of heartwarming stories about living and teaching in the Kispiox Valley back in the 70s: On the Edge of Wilderness: Tales from Hazelton and the Kispiox Valley.
